What I eat in a day on the Keto Diet



Hey! Today I’ll be showing you what I eat in a day on the keto diet! I choose to eat low carb because my GP has told me to keep my carbs low when sharing family history(several people in my family are diabetic). I’m grateful that she focuses on diet! As a result I alternate between carnivore and the ketogenic diet. This diet has helped me to lose weight, wake up feeling refreshed, took away my brain fog, and more! If you are looking for cheap keto food or lazy keto recipes, remember nothing is better than single ingredient foods! I mentioned that I got bigger in 2016 and this was how I lost weight. I haven’t been sticking to it as often as I should, but it has caused me to eat cleaner overall. I plan on sticking to it, Lord willing and I’m making this video to hold me accountable!

What is the keto diet?
“The keto diet is a low carb, high fat diet. You are reducing your carbohydrate intake and replacing it with fat. This reduction in carbs puts your body into a metabolic state called ketosis.

When this happens, your body starts burning fat for energy instead of carbohydrates. It also turns fat into ketones in the liver, which can supply energy for the brain

Ketogenic diets can cause significant reductions in blood sugar and insulin levels. This, along with the increased ketones, has some health benefits”

There are many versions of the keto diet, I would consider this healthy keto(I know everyone has his or her own definition for healthy) but in my opinion, Whole Foods, good meats are healthy.
